My deepest condolences to my cousin, Rose Gunn's family upon the news of her death. Although she has left a void in our hearts,my memories of Rose began as children meeting each other when our family visited her family in Margaree (our mothers were sisters) We girls became friends forever, keeping in touch as time went by through phone and technology between Cape Breton and PEI! Her love for her husband, her daughter and the grand children shone brightly through her words,and, I loved how she lived her life! Rose now has a new home in Heaven and we can all remember her smile, her laugh, and her loving heart!

Sorry to receive the news of Rose’s passing . I spent a lot of Summers in Gillisdale.Some of my best memories were visits to Uncle Michael and Aunt Catherine’s where I got to know all the family .Cousins became friends.Life gets in the way and over time we lose track of family and friends but we hold on to those good times and good memories.Rose you hold a special place in my heart and always will .Prayers and condolences to the family ( D A )

My Aunt Rose was a kind and generous women. She had a cute laugh that bubbled up often in conversation. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The beautiful collection of pictures depict her strong love for her family. I have fond memories of having many shared meals together with my Uncle Alvin, Aunt Rose and our cousin Melanie: treasured times of playing, and eating together. Very sad to hear of Rose’s passing, condolences to Alvin and family. I went to school with Rose and lived with her in Toronto as well. We were young and carefree , enjoying many good square sets and much laughter. She had a great sense of humour and will be missed by us all. Many memories are floating around in my head and for sure Alvin was the love of her life. She always spoke so highly of her siblings as well. Prayers for all.

I grew up with Rose at SW Margaree and was a classmate of hers at both Captain Allans School at SW Margaree and Margaree Forks school as well . I have great memories of her from those long ago days of our youth . The photos were lovely to look at and it was nice to see a picture of the old homestead where Rose grew up ; a home I was in many times in our younger days growing up at South West Margaree . I want to extend my most sincere condolences to her husband , daughter , son-in-law , three grand children and all her siblings that I knew so well .
