Obituary of Georgina Mulligan

The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 of Georgina Mulligan age 81. Georgina was born in Charlottetown, was the daughter of the late Clarence and Neva Reeves. 

Predeceased by her husband Billy, survived by her children Kelly Mulligan and Alison (Kenny MacDougall). Cherished nanny to Willie (Emily), Patrick MacGuigan, Riley and Ella MacDougall and great nanny to Seth and Nate MacGuigan. Sister to Eddie (Myrna) Reeves, Garth (Cathy) Reeves and predeceased by her sisters Lilian VonWagner, Pauline Cary and brother Alan Reeves. Special aunt to Mary Beth Mulligan (Dave Burroughs). 

Georgina loved taking in live music events and was a loyal listener of the Saturday Night Hoedown.  She enjoyed cheering on the UPEI Men’s hockey team and getting together with friends for coffee.  Georgina cherished her family and was her grandchildrens’ biggest fan.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 am.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, August 17 from 4-6 pm. 

Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
