Obituary of Bessie Emma Crosby

The Lord answered her prayers of going to Heaven of Bessie Emma Crosby peacefully at the Garden Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, of Charlottetown, age 98 years. 

Loving mother of Calvin MacDonald (Kathie) and Debbie Schell.  Cherished grandmother of Kevin Schell (Twila) and Michael Schell (Rheanne). Survived also by great-grandchildren Malachi, Delta, Tiberius, Devan, Emmett, Aurora and Esme. Special aunt of David Weeks (Maurice Gallant) and mother-in-law of Dennis Schell. Predeceased by her parents Daniel MacArthur and Ester Godfrey; her husbands Calvin MacDonald Sr. and Merrill Crosby; her sons Kenneth and Ronald; siblings Bernice Weeks (John), Charles MacArthur (Eve) and her nephew Paul Weeks.

Bessie had a great love for dogs and walked many miles in her lifetime rather than drive.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  By personal request, no visitation or funeral service will be held.  A private interment will take place at West River United Church Cemetery, Cornwall PEI.
