Obituary of Mary Lynn (Mare) Muttart
Peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on July 25, 2023, Mary Lynn passed from this life.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Mark (Ella) Kelly; son Jeff (Kelly) Kelly; grandchildren, Gavin, Summer, Bronson and Harlow. She loved them dearly and was very proud of each one of them. She is also survived by her sister Earlene (Dale) Murray; nieces and nephews, Amanda Thomas (Darcy), Patrick Murray (Lisa), Nathan Murray (Samuel), Kaitlin MacPhail (Matthew), Whitney Willis (Logan) and 10 great nieces and nephews. She was just like a mom to each and every one of them. She will also be missed by a very special friend, Lyndon Whitlock.
Mary Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Genevieve and Earl Muttart; her nephew Joseph Murray; grandparents, Wilbert and Norma Muttart and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mary Lynn was known and loved by many. If you knew her then she probably loved you and has hugged you at some point. She was the queen of hugs. Mary Lynn lived and worked in many provinces. As one of her nephews once said to her, “you’ve had more jobs than anyone I know.” She loved everywhere she lived and worked, especially her most recent employer, Taylor’s Jewellers.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. By personal request, no visitation or funeral service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at Dale & Earlene Murray’s, 672 Murray Road, Borden-Carleton on Monday, August 7th from 3 to 7pm. All are welcome to drop in, visit, have refreshments and share stories.
Mary Lynn was grateful for the love and generosity she received during her lifetime. As such, she has requested donations to your local food bank in lieu of flowers, and that we all continue to pay the love forward.
