Obituary of Bernice Frances MacPherson

Bernice Frances MacPherson of Charlottetown passed away peacefully and with family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Dear mother of Lillian Cheverie, Shane MacDonald, Randall MacDonald and Scott MacDonald (Sharon). Grandmother of Crystal Bernard, Mac Cheverie (Jacob), Briana Cheverie, Terri MacDonald, Courtney Gorman and Melissa Graham (Alan). Great-grandmother of numerous great-grandchildren. Bernice is survived by her sisters Theresa Gallant, Winnifred Cantello (Ray), Elaine O’Connor and brothers Bernard Peters (Teresa), James Peters (Donna), Jack Peters (Margaret) and Hammond Peters (Karen). Predeceased by her husbands Henry MacDonald and Charlie MacPherson; daughter Sandra MacDonald, grandson Devin Bernard; brother Eldon Peters and brothers-in-law Leonard Gallant and Joe O’Connor.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held at Sherwood Cemetery on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10 am.
