So very sad to hear about our dear Aunt Kay. She had a huge heart, loved to laugh, play cards and her faith in God was very important to her. I always remember when we went to the Island on summer holidays as kids as soon as we got there Kay would give us some change to go up the street to the house that made delicious homemade candy. I also remember Mom telling me about when her and Kay were in their teens and they would fight about clothes and one time they were fighting over a sweater and they tore the arms right off. I can totally relate having two daughters. Rest in Peace Aunt Kay. Give Mom a hug from me.So wish we could be there for the funeral. Kay was a lovely lady! She was a generous, kind and loyal person who knew how to laugh through the storms. She was strong in spirit and in her faith. Well Kay, Father has called you home and I can only imagine what a joyful meeting you're having with Jesus. I will miss you my friend. Kay was a dear woman that was a part of my church family. She was also a cherished friend of my mother’s. In loving memory of one of the most loved and respected best friends & neighbor..our precious Kay Jay (Kathleen) I miss her so terribly already. To her loving brother & wife-Paul and Anita Jay, and their precious family & in-laws, my most Sincere Sympathy to each of you. She was my aunt on Patricia's side. I'm Mary and when I was a child the family would come up to see her sometimes from Ottawa and I would set my alarm for 2 am when she got home from work and me and her would have a very big sundae. It was very special. I love you Kay. Now you are resting in heaven.
