Obituary of Joan Theodora Beagan

Peacefully and surrounded by her family at Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 the death occurred of Joan T. Beagan (Peters) of Charlottetown, age 94 years. 

Much loved mother of Betty Calagoure, Paul Beagan (Ken Ross), Theresa Beagan, Carol Carson (Cliford), Cindy MacWilliams (Stephen). Cherished grandmother of Joseph (Michelle Blanchard), Lisa, Shannon McKenna; Stacy Beagan, Jillian Howatt (Rob); Maryrose Carson (Steven Affleck), Jeremy Carson, William Carson (Hannah MacDonald) and Lyndsay MacWilliams (Nick Riley) and Gaghe MacWilliams. Great grandmother of Madison, Charlie, Joelle, Jacob and Tori.  Special aunt of Rollie MacKinnon. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Maud (Poirier) Peters, husband Everett, son-in-law Guy Calagoure and siblings Joseph, Prosper, Mary, Pauline, Cecilia and Dorothy.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where visiting hours will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5-7 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Basilica, Charlottetown on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to St. Dunstan's Basilica Restoration Fund.
