Thank you for posting this tribute to Esther and the family. It was a blessing to be brought into the joy and wonder of the two little girls as four generations were side by side. It filled some part of the vacuum that the past several years created when people have been apart. Our sincere condolences for you George, Caroline and all, and ongoing prayers for Esther and for you as you move forward.

My condolences to George, Caroline and family. I worked with Esther at Veterans Affairs. She was a very capable manager who not only managed her staff well but also cared for all who crossed her path. I too remember the delicious butter tarts that she shared with her co-workers. May she Rest In Peace. Doug Clorey

Deepest sympathy to George, Caroline and family. I knew Esther from working at DVA. She was a mentor and friend to many. We always enjoyed a good laugh together. Her mother used to bring fresh butter tarts to the office of which we all enjoyed. Esther was a very kind soul with a ready smile. Keep her memories close.
