Obituary of Maureen Anne Betts

Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2023, the death occurred of Maureen Anne Betts (Campbell), of Charlottetown, age 76 years. 

Dear friend of Patrick “Piper” McInnis. Dear mother of John (Amanda Smith) and Mark and his dear friend Rachel Hambly. Cherished grandmother of Joshua Young-Betts and Jackson Betts. Great-grandmother of Maleah. Maureen will be missed by siblings Richard (Kim), Paula (Peter), Kenny (Judy), Eileen (Gary), Edna (Yvon), Billy (Joyce), Donnie (Debbie), Elliott and Jeanette (Tim). Maureen is fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Marie Campbell.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am from St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
