Obituary of Erland Wilbur Wood

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Erland “Woody” Wilbur Wood of Alexandra at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, March 13, 2023, age 86 years. 

Beloved husband of Marjorie (Balderston). Loving father of Debbie Flegel (Scott), Todd Wood (Heather) and Judy Wood (Bob Beaton). Cherished grandfather of Shelby Beaton; Tyler and Katie Wood; Jake Flegel (Caroline) and Mindy Fedosanka (Peter). Great-grandfather of Freddy. Erland will be missed by his brother Orville Wood (Verna). Predeceased by his siblings Kaye and Ruthie.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 1 pm from the Hillsboro Funeral Home Chapel. No visitation by personal request.

Interment will take place later at Alexandra Baptist Church Cemetery.
