Obituary of Donnie McGuigan

Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Sunday, November 13, 2022, the death occurred of George Donald "Donnie" McGuigan of Charlottetown, formerly of Stratford, age 72 years.  

Beloved husband of Elaine (Cameron) for 49 years.  Loving father of Lisa McCarthy (David), Kara Stewart (Jamie) and Tracey McGuigan.  Proud Pop and Poppy of Brandon (Kailey), Justin, Eva, Max, Cohen, Sam, Aiden and great-grandson Wesley.  Donnie will be missed by his brothers Bobby (Bonnie), Wayne (Joan), Garth and Mark (Frances).  Predeceased by his parents Leslie “La” and Margaret MacGuigan (Pineau) of Belvedere Avenue and grandson Brodie McCarthy. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 am.   Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm.

Memorial donations may be made online to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
