To all Lorraine's loved ones. Your hearts are broken today and my heart is saddened with you, not for Lorraine but for you as you go through your grieving season. My prayer for you is that you will draw strength and encouragement from each other and may there be more laughs than tears. Lorraine sure loved a good laugh. As you go forward you will realize or may already realize that Lorraine is very alive and always be in your hearts and memories. May the presence of Jesus heal your broken hearts, bind the wounds, and be your reason for living your life. The MacInnis family embraced the Longaphie family when they moved to Village Green and it wasn't long before we were one big family. Our children were best of friends and were together all the time. I'm remembering tthe summer that the boys when young lads built the log cabin down in the woods. Lorraine, the woman, wife, and mother, impacted my life during my years in Village Green and I will always be thankful that I have Lorraine in my life. God be with all of you now that you are on a different journey without a wife/mother physically with you. Always remember her wise words and have your best life.

I have many fond memories of our days getting into trouble as kids, and your mom cracking the whip and keeping us in line, and making snacks for us when we had sleepovers and hot chocolate when we came in from skating on a frozen pond.
