Obituary of Perle A. McKenna - Trainor

The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 of Perle Annette McKenna-Trainor (MacDonald) of Donagh, age 84 years. Dear mother of David McKenna (Maria), Donna McKenna and Delight Livingstone (Wade). Grandmother of Darrell (Jona), Dalbert (Tabitha), Fierah (Andrew) and Jenna. Great-grandmother of Malachi, Noah, Ty and Wade. Perle is also fondly remembered by Norbie’s children David (Dianne), Gary, Kevin, Theodore, Sandra MacDonald (Allan), Paul (Gemma) and Carol Trainor and their families. Sister of Stanley MacDonald (Sharon) and sister-in-law of Verna MacDonald and Bonnie Myers. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Michael McKenna and just recently her husband Norbert Trainor; her siblings Gordon MacDonald, Kenneth MacDonald and Carol Joy MacDonald. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment in Mermaid Cemetery. Visiting hours on Thursday from 6-8 pm. Please refrain from wearing scents due to family allergies. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the PEI Right to Life Association or Calvin Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, Mermaid.
