Obituary of Lester Marven MacLean

The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague on Saturday, October 8, 2022 of Lester Marven MacLean of Montague, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Jian Zhi “Snow” (Xue) MacLean. Brother of Sterling (Mary Ellen) and their family - Mark, Marven, Shawn, Jeffery and Jennifer. Son-in-law of De Hui Xue and Cui Quing Wang and stepfather of Xue Li. Lester is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Haywood and Flora (Robbins) MacLean and his siblings Carl Lydell, Darrell Lloyd, Darlene Kathryn Ann and Sharon Lynn all in infancy. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1- 2:45 pm followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 pm. Interment in the Belfast Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Belfast Cemetery or the CNIB Foundation.
