Obituary of Mick Dunn

Peacefully at the Riverview Manor Montague, surrounded by family, the passing of Mick from Summerville, PEI occurred on October 2, 2022.

Loving husband to Barbara (Curran) Dunn of 59 years. Born on October 27, 1937 son of the late Harold and Hilda (Corcoran) Dunn. Survived by his loving children, Debbie (Ivan) Fraser, Joan (Geoff) Crisp, Susan (Bobby) Sorrie, Paul (Carlene) Dunn, Glen (Michelle Cudmore) Dunn, Wayne Dunn and Tracey (Jim) McVey, sister; Dorothy Power and brother; Tom (Joanne) Dunn; sisters-in-law, Bertha Dunn, Bernadette Dunn, cherished grandchildren, Jasmine (Ian Twomey) Crisp, Sean (Martha) MacSwain, Hannah (Mitch) Wilson, Jennifer (Mike) Schmitt, Jordan (Joel MacRae) Cudmore Dunn and Johnny Dunn. Cherished great-grandchildren, Violet MacRae and Kiera Twomey; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by in-laws Cornelius and Jenny Curran; sisters Frances (Gerald) Walsh, Mary (Joe) Byrne, Florence (Joe) Curran, Rose Marie in infancy; brothers Vernon, Raymond (Mary Kaye) and Joseph; brother-in-law Louis Power; nieces Mae Gallant, Cathy Curran; nephew Donnie Dunn. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford, with visiting hours on Wednesday October 5, 2022 from 4-7 pm.  A Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday October 6, 2022 at 2 pm from St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
