Dear Mary,
I am sending my deepest sympathies to you and the family in the passing of your loving husband Stan. I remember with a smile so many of your stories during our chats and time together at TIAPEI and my grandchildren have never forgotten the afternoon at your home with the miniature horses. The love you both exhibited for all animals was a passion shared by my family and we will be sure to find some extra treats for the furbabies in Stan's memory. My thoughts are with you now and in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Dianne Bishop

I was stunned to see Brothers death. He was always in my heart and thoughts for many years. I was always appreciative of him as a special coach while I was playing hockey in Montague with the Vikings then the Jr Kings where he gave me a place to play when I was in limbo. These were the best 2 years I ever had. I want to Express My Deepest Sympathizes to you Mary and all the family. Sam MacLeod

Such a wonderful man, I am greatful to know him, let alone be related to him. I love you Uncle Brod. You were a huge part of my life, from learning about and loving animals, like cathy-belle, Jack, and Festus. I myself have a huge love for animals, and a close connection with horses, which I owe to you. Grampie would be so proud of you and the man you became, a loving father, uncle, cousin, brother and friend. You will never be forgotten, every time I give Spencer the "middle name" I will think of you and Grampie and smile, because I know you will be there together watching over him, and all of us with love and know that you meant a lot to all of us.

Dear Mary,
I was surprised and so sad to read of the passing of dear, sweet "Stan Muffin". He was such a lovely man to talk to--- interested in you had to say, and interesting in what he had to say. He was personality plus!
I so enjoyed the many mornings you and he came to skate at Pownal. Then afterwards we'd head for coffee at Busters with Doug, Audrey, Donnie, Malcom,Alice and whoever else came along. Oh, the laughs we had there! Those were the good times, and I will always remember them as such.
"Memories are treasures chests where the most priceless jewels of thought are stored: where the gems of hours gone by--- cherished moments beyond valuation--- are treasured."
John of "The Lilacs"
Hugs,
Peggy.

He was a gem. He was a wealth of information and experience with horse and donkey training. I hung on his every word. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have had the skills nor confidence to train my mini horses and donkeys. I wouldn’t even have gotten mini donkeys If it wasn’t for his stories about the one he used to have. I designed my barn according to his recommendations. I cherish Misty, the mini horse I got from him, even more now. When he started teaching me the parts of a harness, I didn’t know what he was saying, because of his accent, and the word was only pad [for back pad]. He had a great sense of humour !
Love to Mary and family , Melody Morse
