To the McGowan family. We just found out that Reta passed away in 2022! She lived next to my parents in Ottawa for many years and they were great neighbors and friends of my parents Vito & Vittoria Ciliberto. They were never shy to drop in for a glass of homemade wine! I and my siblings also had the great pleasure to know them for many years as well! Mom and I visited Reta a few years ago at the Crystal View Lodge. We send our deepest condolences to everyone.

Reta and John were friends and coworkers of the family. Harry Goulet and the McGowan boys grew up together in Eganville. I worked for John in Churchill Falls and attended his funeral in Ottawa. Whenever I was visiting in Charlottetown, I gave Reta a call. It was good of you to continue her Christmas card list. I send my condolences and prayers to the family. Carolyn Desjardins née Goulet

Dear Family of Reta My deepest sympathy in the loss of Reta. My Mom, Celine (Doyle) Brazel and Reta were first cousins. The families grew up together. Rest in Peace Reta.
