Obituary of James David Gillis

With great sadness, we announce the passing away of James “Jim” David Gillis at the Garden Home in Charlottetown, age 82. 

Born and raised in Point Pleasant, PEI by his grandparents, Samuel and Linda Gillis.  Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lois (Muttart) Gillis.  Loving father of sons Ross (Juanita) and Curtis; step-father to Tracy MacEachern.  Cherished grandfather of Tyler DesRoches.  Jim will be missed by his aunts Mildred MacLean and Muriel Ilott; niece Helen McCaig; cousins Lois MacDonald and Elva MacLeod; brothers-in-law Hedley, Hillard (Ferne), and Dale (Helen) Muttart; and good friend Florence MacMillan.  Predeceased by his grandparents Samuel and Linda Gillis, infant daughter Deborah, sister Gertrude Stewart, and niece Deborah Stewart. 

By personal request, no visitation or funeral service will be held.
