Obituary of Norbert Vernon Trainor

Norbert Vernon Trainor passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Dear husband of Perle (MacDonald). Father of David (Dianne), Gary, Kevin, Theodore, Sandra MacDonald (Allan), Paul (Gemma) and Carol Trainor. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Norbert is also fondly remembered by Perles children David, Donna, Delight and families. Brother of Clifford Trainor. Predeceased by his parents Pearl and Patrick Trainor; children Cindy and Kent and sister Phyllis MacKinnon (Jack). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visiting hours on Thursday from 5-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am from St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Patrick’s Cemetery Restoration Fund.
