Obituary of Barry Parker Ings

Peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 23, 2022, the death occurred of Barry Parker Ings of Pownal, age 86 years. 

Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Murray).  Loving father of Diana Joy Greer (Carson). Cherished grandfather of Catherine and CaroleAnne. Barry is fondly remembered by his chosen brothers and sisters of the Murray family and he will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Predeceased by his parents Parker and Alice (Rodd) Ings and by his beloved granddaughter Deborah.

Visiting hours will be held from the Hillsboro Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 pm, followed by a graveside service at the Hazelbrook Cemetery.

The Charlottetown Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of Remembrance from the funeral home on Monday at 1:30 p.m. 

Memorial donations may be made online to Parkinson's Foundation (PEI) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Barry’s family extends its sincere thanks and gratitude for the care provided to Barry during his time at Beach Grove Home.
