My condolences to you all! I have a particular fond memory of your Mum. I drove with her to PEI in the convertible - quite exciting - to stay at Kentcroft. We could not get on the last ferry as it was full so ended up overnight in the ferry parking lot. She had a great sense of humour about it and made it quite the adventure. Always loved a chat with her as well at United Memorial. Vivian Jennings

I remember her from when I was a young child in Hunter River. My parents Marge and Cyril Smith were very close to the Robertson family. Then many years later when I was a nursing student in Halifax Verna would have me to supper from time to time. A lovely lady and family Marjorie Smith Sagan

Although I have not met any of Verna’s family I would like to offer condolences to them on the loss of their dear Mother and grandmother. Verna was always so lovely and soft spoken, just like a ray of sunshine. The last time I say Her was at my Dad’s ( Earl Robertson’s) funeral. Verna and Dad were first cousins. I was so pleased to talk briefly with Verna and some of the Bertram cousins just before the funeral. Dad and your Grandfather Fulton were good fishing buddies so we saw him often. How Fulton loved to go fishing. Thinking of you all Neil and Gail(.Robertson) MacEwen

My deepest sympathy to the family,relatives and friends of Verna Kent.I met Verna in the summer of 2020 when she moved in to AOC.We shared a lot of good laughs,stories, and memories that I will cherished forever.She was such a beautiful soul,a very smart lady with a heart of gold.I am so sad that she is gone but at the same time I am happy for her that she will be reunited with Kathy(her daughter) in heaven.I am surely gonna miss her.Rest in peace my dear Verna and thank you for all the love.
