I was saddened to hear of John’s passing. Back in the 80’s when I was Circulation Manager at The Guardian, John had a number of routes and worked in our mailroom. We worked many hours together and regardless of how busy we were or tough weather we endured, John just kept smiling ….and talking lol . He was a very reliable guy with an incredible heart and work ethic. He could make the best out of any situation.
May he Rest In Peace.

My condolences to John's family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with John for a number of years at People First. He was a wonderful co-worker, full of ideas, took on any task with enthusiasm, and had a really positive outlook. It was always a pleasure, later on, to be surprised by John - he'd pull over in his taxi to say hello, and a quick chat. A lovely guy.

We lost a very kind and caring gentleman when John passed away.
I spoke with John in the morning the day of his passing.
I told him certain people myself, Susan, Keith, Jonathan, and Rob N. loved him and cared for him. There was many more people that were thinking about him and cared for him too.
I was glad to be able to talk to him and told him I was going to call him back but unfortunately he was taken away.
I knew John for around 40 years.
Sympathy is sent to All John's family.
RIP my friend.

John was such a great friend to me over the past 30 years. If it was his last $10 he would lean to you no matter what. He was amazing dart player and good crib player. My sympathy goes out to his family member at this time. R.I.P. John my dear friend. From Geoff Brigdes.
