Obituary of Mertie Lois Sanderson

Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 16, 2021, the death occurred of Mertie Lois (Jenkins) Sanderson of Whisperwood Villa and formerly of Millview, age 97 years. 

Loving mother of Audrey MacEachern (Ken), Wayne (Laura), Lynda MacMaster, Norma Power (Adrian), Gladys Nicholson (Barry) and Lona Penny (Elvert Earl). Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Ralph, an infant daughter, son-in-law Douglas MacMaster and grandson Kenneth Sanderson.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions, a public visitation (Vax Pass and photo id required) will be held on Friday from 3-6 and a funeral service (by invitation only) will be held.

Interment will take place later at St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery, Vernon Bridge.
