To Malcolm's family. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mac at the Gov't Garage. I worked in the office and knew him there. He knew my family also. . Mac worked with my first husband there and drove a snowplow with my late partner Gary Cummings, many years ago. I heard many stories and had lots of laughs with both Mac and Margie. Mac always had a smile on. My sincere condolences to the family.

Alice, there are no words to express how deeply sorry I am. Malcolm was not only a wonderful man but also a wonderful genuine friend to so many. He always had a smile for everyone he met, along with a very interesting story to tell. He was so loving and kind and he will be deeply missed by so many. We are keeping you in our prayers and thoughts Alice, and our deepest sympathies to the family. A dear friend sent this quote to me when I lost Peter…”Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal” - from a tombstone in Ireland. I am sure you have so many wonderful memories to cherish of your life with Malcolm, and these will bring you comfort during these difficult times and for many years to come.

We are so saddened to learn of Malcolms passing. Such a pleasant and kind man. Our first encounter with Malcolm was shortly after we moved to Uigg, I looked out our window and saw a tractor in my veggie garden. I had no idea who this was until he was done tilling my garden. Then this (very tall & handsome) man jumped out of his tractor and introduced himself. I greatly appreciated the job he had done and wanted to pay him but he would not hear of it, he said he was just doing what neighbours do. Malcolm always made us feel so welcomed to the community. He will be missed and fondly remember. Our condolences to Alice and to all his family.
