Obituary of Sterling Crane

Peacefully at home on Monday, November 15, 2021 the death occurred of Robert “Sterling” Crane of Kinross, age 62 years. 

Beloved husband of Kathy (Vessey). Loving father of Grant Vessey (Lori), Kerri Crane and Raelynn Crane (Spencer Smith). Cherished grandfather of Brayden Blackett, Madelyn Vessey, Katie Rose Vessey and Adaya Smith. Brother of Trent (Anne) and Tracey Crane.  Special nephew of Bobby Crane. Sterling will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Fondly remembered by the Vessey family. Predeceased by his parents Clifford “Buddy” and Helen Jane (MacKinnon) Crane and brother Trevor (infancy).

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A public visitation (Vax Pass and photo id required) will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm. A private funeral service (by invitation only) will be held. 

Interment will take place at St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Iona.
