Obituary of Elaine Maude Hazelwood

The death occurred peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021, of Elaine Maude (Kenny) Hazelwood at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown with family by her side. Elaine enjoyed reading, travelling and time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband Wayne Hazelwood. Elaine leaves behind 3 children; Michael Flanagan (Cyndy), Lisa Donovan (Eric, deceased) and Darlene Monaghan (Joe). Beloved grandmother of Joelle Monaghan (Matt), Emma Donovan (Tyler), Jerrilyn Monaghan, Darcy Flanagan, Devin Donovan and Jeremy Monaghan. Great-grandmother to her beautiful great-grandchildren Hayes and Morayo.  Sister of Joan, Anne, Bobby and Jimmy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Kay Kenny and siblings Jean and Norma.  Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A private graveside service will be held in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made online to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation (Neonatal Unit).
