Obituary of Jacob Visser

Peacefully at his home in Orwell Cove, the death occurred of Jacob Visser, age 87 years. His only comfort, in life and in death, was that he belonged to his faithful savior Jesus Christ. On Friday, he exchanged time for eternity, and met his savior face to face. 

Dear husband of Hillegonda (Reijm). Father of Stephen (Kristie) and Andrea Visser-Bult (Michael). Opa of Ruth, Bethany, Marianna, and Reuben Visser and Eli and Annika Bult. Brother of Nico, Leo (Alice), Anna Kamphuis, Dick (Barbara), Gerry Van Meekeren, Helen Hartenhof (Jacob) and Frances Fam. Brother-in-law of Catherine Visser. Predeceased by his siblings Menno, Gerrit (Fim), Tena Hengeveld (Gerrit); sister-in-law Jannie Visser and brothers-in-law Gerrit Kamphuis and Frank VanMeekeren.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private visitation and funeral service will be held.

Interment in Orwell Corner Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Orwell Corner Cemetery. Please note:  the Orwell Cemetery is under the pastoral charge of St. Andrew's United Church and all donations will be collected and disbursed to the cemetery thru St. Andrew's Church.

The Funeral Service will be live streamed at 10:30am on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
