Obituary of Leon Hessell Younker

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 the death occurred of Leon Hessell Younker of Cornwall, age 70 years. 

 

Beloved husband of Nancy (Middleton). Loving father of Kimberley Younker, Ryan Younker, Rileigh Hughes (Tyson), Chad Younker and Wesley Lund (Stacey). Cherished grandfather of Hailey, Jaelynn, Ryder and Jonathan. Leon will be missed by his siblings Winston, Arnold and Louise Callbeck (Lester). Brother-in-law of Mary Younker. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Olga (MacNevin) Younker, step-son Jeremy Lund, siblings Lyle, Alma, Harry, Ira and sisters-in-law Kerry Younker and Mabel Younker.

 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions, no visitation or funeral service will be held. 

 

Memorial donations may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
