Judy and Julie…I’m so sorry for your loss. I know only too well the feeling of loosing a mother. I was your friend in high school, Teri McAllister. My mum bought one of your mothers paintings for me as a Christmas gift. I’d like to return it to you. It’s a painting from the front of your cottage on the beach of the old Parlee Beach house. I remember being there at your cottage with you and loved your mum. I’m on Facebook as Teresa Venezia. Send me a PM and I’ll send the painting to you. ❤️❤️

Dear Judi, Gerry & Family: We were saddened to hear of your mother’s death. We have missed not being able to pop over for a chat with her at the cottage in Stanhope these past years. She used to scare the life out of us when we would look over and see her standing on a wobbly lawn chair trimming her grapevine. She was a lovely lady and had so many interesting stories to tell us about her life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
Our sincere sympathies,
Brian and Marilyn Landry (Lower Sackville, NS)

Judi and Gerry - Losing a parent is never easy but the love and closeness that you’ve shared will always remain in your greatest memories and forever in your heart. I have very fond memories of your mom as a great neighbour and special person as I spent my summers in Stanhope. I was checking through some old photos the other day and I came across the painting your mom gave to me of my cottage which I treasured. Please extend my sympathy to the rest of your family and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Marlene and Tommy Steeves

I am so sorry to hear of Grace’s passing. I did not know her well but many years ago, when she was living at The Bluff, I commissioned her to paint a watercolor of our beachfront home in Shediac Cape as a birthday gift for my husband. She did a beautiful job and, although we have since moved, the painting still hangs on our wall today. She was a very talented lady with, as I remember, a lovely personality. My sincere condolences to the family.

So sorry for your loss, Judy. I was saddened to read this news this morning and of course my memory immediately went to Isabelle Coburn, my FHS English teacher and by far, my all time fave teacher.
