Vince, Mike and families sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. Joe was not the quiet one in your family. He will be missed.
Joe you were one of a kind, and a kind hearted soul. There are not too many, near or far, that do not have a Big Joe story.
RIP Buddy.

I remember about 10 years ago I was driving home on Bethel road one blustery cold winter day. I came across my uncle Joe stuck down in the ditch on the sharp corner near Donagh school. To my surprise Joe was still in his truck and said he couldn't get out as it was down the steep ditch and he was stuck with his big belly against the seat belt. So I climbed in his truck and was able to undo his seatbelt. What I didn't realize before I pressed the seat belt button was that Joe wasn't holding onto anything, and when I released it he went tumbling down across his truck where he ended upside down with his face on the passenger window. Talk about a workout to pull him up off of that as he sure wasn't too energetic that day LOL ... We finally got him out and then drove to Jason Murnaghan's who then took his tractor down to pull Big Joe's Truck out of the ditch. thanks for the help Joe Haha

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was someone who would never just speak and walk on. Joe was one of those people who always stopped to say hello, and find out how everyone was doing. When Joe (had his taxi service) he got our son and his friends home safely many times. He was always willing to wait for them until they were ready to go home. They had a real friendship with Joe. It was like they were his kids. Rest in Peace Joe.
