Obituary of David William D'Aubin

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, August 29, 2020 of David W. D’Aubin of Stratford, age 77 years. David was born in Sydney, NS where he received his education at Sydney Academy then went onto Kings College in Halifax, graduating in 1964. He then received his BEd from Dalhousie in 1965. David worked as a teacher at Amherst Regional High School for 30 years and also ran as the NDP candidate for East Cumberland in the 1974 election. David was the president of the Amherst Credit Union Board of Directors and travelled extensively, loved to paint and do woodworking as a hobby. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Jury) D’Aubin. Father of Marcus (Eloise) and Paul (Nicole). Grandfather of Jacob, Alexander and Elijah. Brother of Denise Inouye (Douglas). Predeceased by his parents James and Myrtle (Garrison) D’Aubin. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. Memorial donations may be made to the PEI Humane Society.
