Obituary of Joseph William McAskill

The death occurred as the result of a highway accident on Saturday, August 22, 2020 of Joe McAskill of Stratford, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Trudi (Stewart). Loving and devoted father of Stephen Comeau, Christopher Comeau (Kandi-Jo), Karalee McAskill (Matt McIver) and Cameron McAskill (Mary Beth). Cherished grandpa Joe of Grace Comeau, Benjamin McAskill and soon to be Baby McIver. Brother of Belinda Montigny, Della (Heartz) Godkin, Barron (Sherlynn), Brendon (Mary), Glenda Molyneaux (David), Deana Savage, Wesley Constable (Mary), Sherry Bowtle (Mike), Terri Cook (Dale) and Lana Fanning (Glenn). Brother-in-law of Mary McAskill and Susan McAskill. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Bertha (MacDonald) McAskill and Marcella and Alton Constable, brothers Bud McQuillan, Jimmy, Martin and Jackie McAskill, Glen Constable and Joe's sister Patsy Trainor. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions A private family service will be held. No visitation by request. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date. Joe practiced kindness and love every day so please pay it forward by showing the same kindness to others in lieu of flowers or memorial donations.
