Obituary of Elinor Dorothy Gillis

The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at the Gillis Lodge on Monday, May 18, 2020 of Elinor Dorothy Gillis of Pt. Prim, age 92 years. Dear mother of Gilbert (Goldie), Douglas (Judy MacKeeman), Marilyn Disher (Gerald), Sandra Seeber (Tim), Ivy White (Ross), Graham (Sandra), and John Murdock (Jackie). Grandmother of Janie, Peter, Bruce, Carolyn, Brian, Steven, Carson, Candice, Morgan, Simon, Logan, Shannelle, Jenny Mae, Daniel and Emily. Also survived by 21 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Carol Murchison and Lynwood Gillis. Predeceased by her husband Chester and sisters Evelyn, Jean, Anne and Rolla and brothers Simon, John and Angus. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions in place a public visitation or funeral service will not be held at this time. Interment in Polly Cemetery.
