Obituary of James Frederick Cake

It is with a "heavy heart" and "great sadness" that we say farewell to James "Bud/Buddy" Frederick Cake Jr. of Stratford, PE, who passed away at his family home at the age of 76 years, on Saturday, March 28th, 2020. Bud will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 53 years Beverley (McGrath) Cake. Dear father of Steven, Kevin (Michelle) and Stacey Cake. Grampie of Noah, Keenan, Harmony, Ryleigh, Reagan, Shelby and Blaze. Great-grampie of Alister. Brother of Betty Stockley, Joan MacLean and Claudia Whitty. Bud will also be deeply missed by extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Elsie Cake and his sister Francis Cake. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made online to the Canadian Lung Association. "Sacred are the memories, I lived a good life. Now I'll have a good rest."
