Obituary of Anita Alice Koughan

The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 of Anita Koughan of Charlottetown, age 89 years. Loving sister of Henry, Joe (Elaine) and Catherine Koughan. Anita will also be missed by her sister-in-law Phyllis Koughan and numerous nieces and nephews. Nene is remembered with love as a special member of the Hogan and Holman family. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Ella (Duffy) Koughan; brothers - Canisius, Elmer, Lorne, and Earl; sister - Mary Holland; sisters-in-law - Phyllis, Annette, and Mary Koughan and brother-in-law - Dan Holland. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visiting hours on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 3:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 10, 2020 from the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer at 10:00 a.m. Interment at a later date in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
