Obituary of John David Walker

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, the death occurred of Dave Walker, of Cornwall, PE, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Debbie Walker (nee Gallant). Loving father of daughters - Tracey, Lisa and Betty Jo Walker and son - John David Walker. Cherished grandfather of Tabitha, Dominic, Terran, Brandon, River, Brandon, Zackary, Jed, Elizabeth and William. He was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Dave will be missed by brother - Doug Walker (Rose) and sisters - Vickie Cobill (Ted - deceased) and Jean Blue (Lynwood deceased). He was brother-in-law of Linda Bouchard (John), Mary Perry (Dwight), Bonnie Gillis (Gar), Allison Gallant (Carla), Jennifer Gallant (Fred), Donnie Gallant (Sandra), Wendy Silliker (Ray), Wayne Gallant (Bev), Kent Gallant (Sharon) and Walter LeClair. He was predeceased by his parents - Charles and Annie Walker (nee Astles); brother - Lloyd Walker; father and mother-in-law - Ivan Gallant and Margaret (nee Doiron); brothers-in-law - Joseph Gallant and Alfred Perry and sister-in-law - Elizabeth LeClair. No visitation by personal request. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date at Caledonia Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
