Obituary of John C. Salter

The death occurred at home with his family at his side, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, of John C. Salter of Tea Hill, Stratford. Beloved husband of Deborah, devoted father of David and Robert, both of Calgary. John was predeceased by his father Lemoyne (1996), his mother Effie (1981) and his sister Elizabeth (Liz) (2016). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Thursday, February 22 from 4-7 p.m. A private Graveside service will be held at a later date with interment in Valleyfield Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cancer Treatment Centre (QE Hospital), Heart & Stroke Foundation or Valleyfield Cemetery would be appreciated.
