Obituary of Ruth Jenkins

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, December 28, 2017 of Ruth Jenkins of Pownal, age 60 years. Beloved wife of Brian Jenkins and loving mother of Allan and Karen (Kenny Didychuk). Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her sister - Laverne McGuigan (Michael Larter); brothers - Jack MacKenzie (Lillian), Alex MacKenzie (Wilma) and Robert MacKenzie. She was predeceased by her parents - Lester and Jessie MacKenzie, brothers - Barry MacKenzie and Roy MacKenzie, and sister - Ida Williams. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. There will be no funeral service by personal request. Interment will be held at St. Andrews United Church Cemetery, Vernon Bridge at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
