Obituary of Oswald Alexander Belaire

At the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, August 3, 2017, Ossie Belaire passed peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife Betty (nee Wall), daughter Tara (Dan) and son Adam (Amanda). He is survived by his children Stephen Belaire (Diane), Peggy Wiltshire (Mitch) and Susan Belaire. Also survived by grandchildren Nicole, Isabelle, and Alexis Painchaud (Tara & Dan); Amanda and Kyle Benson (Susan); Victor Wilthsire (Peggy & Mitch); and Shane and Daniel Belaire (Stephen & Diane). Great-grandfather to Nicole, Rylin, Keria and Adrin. Special “Poppy” to Melissa MacKenzie. Survived by his two sisters Joyce and Doreen, and brother Dwight. Special adopted brother to Shirley Gunn (Dan) and cousin and best fishing buddy Keith Bowes (June). A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hillsboro Funeral Home on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society. A light reception to be held at the home of Ossie and Betty Belaire at 81 MacEachern Road, Mt. Herbert, following the service.
