Obituary of Mary T. Keoughan

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 13, 2016 of Mary Teresa Keoughan (nee McLeod) of Donagh, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman Keoughan and loving mother of Maureen Keoughan MacDonald (Pat Campbell), Vince (Wanda), Allan (Geraldine), John (Debbie), Joanie Morrison (Raymond), Sharon Gotell (Leonard), and Wayne (Aleshia DeRoche). Mary is also survived by her grandchildren - Jacinta, Justin (Jess McGrath), Alanna, Nathan, Alex, Stephanie (Mike MacEwen), Jonathon, Katie, Hannah, Bethany (Donnie Robbins), Kyle, Samantha and Kody Keoughan, Ryan (Shelly Warren) and Ian MacDonald and Derrick (Jennifer), Rae Anne (Ben MacDonald) and Matthew (Katharena) Morrison. Mary is also survived by her great-grandchildren - Julia, Camden, Noah, Dylan and Austyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Gertrude McLeod, brothers - Father Joseph McLeod, Leonard (Anne), Urban (Mary), Harold, Emmett, Basil (Bernadette) and Fred McLeod and son-in-law - Keith King. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to the evening visitation at 6:30 PM.
