Obituary of Catherine Helen Chandler

Passed peacefully December 9, 2016 at Charlotte Residence of Helen Chandler of Charlottetown, age 106 years. Helen was predeceased by her parents William and Catherine (nee Long) Chandler, brother - Samuel and sister - Annie. Helen was professed as a member of the Secular Franciscan Order on December 8, 1989. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 10 AM. Interment will take place later at St. Joachim’s Cemetery. The CWL of St. Francis of Assisi Parish will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 5:40 PM and the Secular Franciscan Order will hold a wake service at 7:30 PM. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
