Obituary of Brian Joseph Murphy

Passed at his residence on October 10, 2016 of Brian Murphy of Charlottetown and formerly of Hermitage, age 67 years. Loving father of Gail Murphy, April Murphy (Dany Cimon), Crystal Murphy (Jay King) and Adam Murphy (Alicia Clow) and grandfather of Taylor Murphy (Tyler), Paige Murphy, Ava King and Alex King. Brian is also survived by the mother of his children Linda MacIntyre and his siblings - Doreen Doyle (Norman - deceased), Elaine Trainor (Tom), Linda Beaton (Wayne), Joseph Murphy (Georgie), John Murphy (Elizabeth), Sharon Dunn (Ken), Paula Drake (Gary), Patsy MacKinnon (Blair), Rosie Cheverie (Blaine) and Arlene Johnston (Melvin). He was predeceased by his son, Joey Murphy, parents, Merrill and Helen (nee MacDonald) Murphy, brothers, Blair and Arnold Murphy and his nephew Mark Murphy. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5 - 8 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday October 14, 2016 at St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
