Obituary of Ralph Blaine Dowling

Passed peacefully at Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 of Ralph Dowling of Charlottetown, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Cannon) and loving father of Blaine, Tammy MacDonald (Lorne), Joseph and Daniel (Bobi-Jo). Ralph will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Austin, Evan, Justin, Jayden, Madison, Hunter, Nicholas, Destiny and Bauer Dowling and Nathaniel Skinner. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Dowling and uncles - Pius, William (Mickey) and Maurice Bolger. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Friday, October 7, 2016 from 6 - 9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 10 AM. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the PEI Right to life Association or the PEI Chapter of Parkinson’s Canada would be appreciated. *Due to allergies the family requests no flowers or scents at the visitation.* Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
