Obituary of Mary Virginia Burke

Passed at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Monday, September 26, 2016 of Virginia Burke of Charlottetown, age 68 years. Beloved wife of David and loving mother of Laura Burke, Carolyn Arsenault (Mike), Kevin Burke and Mark Burke. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren - Madison, Aidan, Mya, Dacie, Hailey and Kiera; brothers - Howard, Leo and Freddie Perry; sisters - Bertha Perry, Ann Marie Clark and Elizabeth MacDougall. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur Joseph and Mary Rose (nee Dougay) Perry and brothers - Cedric, Willie and Tommy Perry. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 10 AM. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
