Obituary of Agnes Walsh

Agnes (Boudreault) Walsh of Summerville slipped quietly and peacefully from this world at the QEH on January 9, 2016 in her 91st year. She was the last surviving family member of James and Henrietta (Fougere) Boudreault. Predeceased by her husband Cecil, son Gerry and daughter-in-law Laura Lee. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Donna Gallant (Ron), Kathie Marshall (Chris), Barry (Colleen), Jeannie Carpenter (Gerard), Karen Harding (Bob), Celie Gallison (Chuck), Rosalie Dawson (Scott) and David. She will also be greatly missed by sister-in-law Zita Boudreault, 34 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 14, 2016 at St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River at 3 PM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Provincial Stroke Unit at the QEH or PEI Cancer Society would be appreciated. The CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home prior to visiting hours at 6:30 PM. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
