Obituary of Richard George Everett Blacquier

Passed suddenly Tuesday, November 17, 2015 Richard Blacquier of Stratford, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Maureen Blacquier (nee Whitford), loving father of Richard Blacquier (Anita) and Joanne Chaulk (Scott) and son of Lois Gamester. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Izaic Gowans, Zane Blacquier, Jeremy Garnhum, Terra Garnhum and great-granddaughter Eva Garnhum. He is also survived by his brother Max Gamester (Sandra) of Cornwall, sisters - Isabel Smith (Mike) of Kensington, Shaun Spinney of Orillia, Bonnie MacLean (Terry) of Charlottetown and numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 12 - 1 PM. A funeral service will be held following the visitation Saturday at Cross Roads Christian Church at 2 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to Cross Roads Christian Church or the Diabetes Association of PEI would be appreciated.
