Obituary of Mary Edith Hennessey

Passed peacefully Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Garden Home of Mary Edith Hennessey of Charlottetown, age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Allison Hennessey, loving mother of Bobby Hennessey (Barb), Linda Hennessey, Judy MacPhee (Ron), Paul Hennessey, Michael Hennessey, Susan Bennett (Ray) and daughter-in-law Marie Deighan. Edith will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister, Arlene MacLean. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy, parents, James and Mary (nee LeClair) MacLean, brothers - Walter, Kenny, Harold and Ronnie MacLean; sisters - Gladys Bernard and Beatrice MacLean. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, there will be a private family visitation and funeral as per personal request. Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
