Obituary of Brigitte Maria Blikslager

Peacefully and with her family at her side at the Whisperwood Villa, Charlottetown Brigitte Maria Blikslager (Engelhard) of Avondale, passed away at the age of 87 years. Dear mother of Thomas (Joan), George, Margaret Veinot and Melanie Blikslager. Grandmother of Riki, Ryan, Dwayne, Darcy, Desi, Darryl, Tyler, Kaitlin, Curtis, Karla, Anthony, Byron and Robyn. Great-grandmother of Aiden, Austin, Freya, Grace, Gavin, Cohen, Nika, Zack, Samantha, Ethan and Declan. Sister of Sr. Ursula “Sr. Devota” Engelhard and Ingrid Maier (Anton). Sister-in-law of Heidi Hitzelberger (Richard). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years Gustav Blikslager; her great grand-daughter Isabella Veinot and her daughter-in-law Dale Blikslager. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where visiting hours will be held on Friday Jan. 3, 2025 from 3-5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Joachim's Church Vernon River on Saturday Jan.4, 2025 at 10:30 am. Interment later in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the St. Joachim's Cemetery Fund.
