Obituary of John David William Horton

Peacefully and with family by his side at the Garden Home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 the death occurred of John David William Horton of Mt. Albion, in his 77th year.  

Beloved husband of Diane (MacPherson). Loving father of Kenny, Mark and Brenda. Cherished proud poppy of Eric, April, Samantha and Jessie. Also great-grandfather of 6 great grandchildren. Brother of Eva Downe. John will be missed by his large family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents David and Marion (Myers) Horton, great-granddaughter Savannah, sister Matilda "Tilly" Carver (Jimmy) and brother-in-law Gordon Downe.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9-9:45 am followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10 am. Interment will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery, Mt. Albion.
