Hello all: Brenda, Kevin, Alan, JoAnne, and Darlene and family.
I was so sorry to hear about Gordon's death this past week, but then thought that he and Mary were together, once again! I was always privileged to have them as my Godparents. They were the only ones chosen outside of Mom and Dad's expansive list of siblings who stepped into this role for the rest of my own list of siblings! Your parents were that special!
I understand Mom shared my thoughts with you at the wake, that of Gordon always teasing me and calling me "Lester", ever since I was a little girl. My only recourse? I called him "Lester" right back!! And so the game went. I should add, he always had a little giggle each time he called me Lester, a little laugh I will always remember with much love.
Sending you all a loving and wraparound hug during this time of loss while celebrating the person Gordon was, and that he lives on in all of you!
